Jeon Jungkook had been a fan of Lee Yanxi's mukbang streams for a long time. At last, he got to meet her at Echo Company's endorsement shoot in 2015.
He'd finally gotten the chance to send gifts to the streamer he liked, only to discover that noona was way too rich. He couldn't afford to support her.

Lee Yanxi was driving home after work. Passing through Hongdae, she spotted a little mushroom-headed figure by the roadside and thought she must have mistaken what she saw.
Looking closer, she realized the kid wasn't even wearing a mask. Wasn't he an idol? Could he really go around like that?
So she stopped the car. "Where are you going? I'll give you a ride."
His usually bright eyes were dull and gray. "Noona, I want to walk by myself."
Lee Yanxi rolled up the window and drove off, but she couldn't stop thinking about his dull, gray eyes. Then she remembered her little brother at the orphanage, turned around, and silently followed him from behind.
After a long while, the kid seemed ready to head home.
She rolled down the window. "No refusing. Get in!"

Jeon Jungkook pursued Lee Yanxi for ages, and at the end of 2017 finally got the answer he wanted. One day, he noticed that all the older guys were wearing little hair ties on their wrists.
Mushroom was pouting. Mushroom was unhappy.
That day, Lee Yanxi saw the kid wandering back and forth in front of her without saying a word. His phone screen was full of pictures of different hair ties.
She remembered what Shimao had said in the group chat and understood.

Lee Yanxi was born in 1994 and grew up at the Angel Orphanage. With an IQ of 140, she got into Seoul National University's computer science department at sixteen. She first supported herself and the children at the orphanage through mukbang streams. Later, she co-managed her company, Echo, with Yin Nianyi and Fang Weiai.
