The Economics Demon King

Ye Ran opens her eyes and finds herself the Demon King, enemy to the entire world. She quickly comes to terms with reality: First, she is the biggest good-for-nothing in the demon race. Second, the city has been reduced to nothing but a bank, and her life is bound to it. Third, not only do the people of the Church want her dead, but the demon lords do too. The goofy System demands that Ye Ran "win them over with reason" and get these demons to deposit their money in her bank, so she can rebuild the Demon King's realm. Faced with demons who spend every day fighting and killing, with no notion of cooperation, Ye Ran falls silent. What kind of bank can you open in a place with no currency? She decisively changes tactics, waves the contracts in her hand, and starts hawking "magic power loans" and "life insurance." The System is horrified: Wait, weren't we supposed to develop peacefully? Surrounded by her many retainers, Ye Ran sits on a burning throne, a crown of flames atop her head. She looks down upon the financial empire she built with her own hands. Demons and wizards produce countless research breakthroughs, while airships bring the land, sea, and sky beneath the roar of machinery. Countless disillusioned talents flock to this fertile land of wealth and opportunity. As she elegantly signs her name, the age of praising the gods comes crashing down.
