The Main God Space sends a notice to some authors whose abandoned stories can no longer be revived:
Please read this announcement carefully and sign the confidentiality agreement. The Main God Space needs your help correcting world data. Thank you for your contribution to maintaining the balance of the universe.
Whenever an author begins writing and constructs a world, a brand-new world is born in the universe. If its construction is halted midway, the world will fill in the missing rules on its own, resulting in all sorts of errors.
Among the various kinds of worlds awaiting correction, one category is known as the Underworld. These are suspense and horror worlds with exceptionally high casualty rates that are difficult to correct even with the Main God's cheats.
Gu Zhi is an infamous world corrector in the Main God Space. He only takes on Underworlds and is known for being a lunatic.
In Underworlds, the Main God provides a second golden finger: the original author of the world, dragged in with a sack over their head.
Mo Ning is a horror novelist. In a dream, he's forced to enter a hospital, chased up three floors by a blood-soaked nurse, and sees a man wielding an axe as he fights her off.
Gu Zhi glances at him. "Can this little body handle being put through the wringer in an Underworld?"
Once everything is over, Gu Zhi says, "Why is the story you wrote so creepy?"
The second time they meet, Gu Zhi says, "We meet again. How creepy is this story?"
The third time they meet, Gu Zhi says, "Little author, we meet again. How have you been lately?"
Mo Ning wants to say that he's been having a hard time because he hasn't seen Gu Zhi, but then he realizes things are even worse when he does see him. He stammers, "I-I'm... all right..."
