People in the book, don't involve people outside it. You and I both understand that none of us are characters in a book.
The protagonist is a terrible person. That will come to light later.
She is used to suppressing her desires. Whatever expression she wears on her face is just an expression, unrelated to how she feels.
Everyone is moving forward, and only she clings to the past.
How cruel. How tragic.
Ji Xin looks at these strange creatures. She seems to understand their tangled love and hatred after all.
But she is also an excellent winemaker.
This story is firmly no-CP. Every question left unanswered will be explained later. The author will reread the story to check for mistakes, though I may still overlook something in my carelessness.
Please point it out if you do. Thank you!
If there's a problem, please message me privately first so we can talk it over and work something out. Don't let your emotions run away with you. We're all reasonable introverts.
There are many side couples in this story, but the main couple does not stick to the no-CP approach.
Here's some background information (I may add to or revise this later):
Human ranks (the same for both military and civilian officials): Third-Class Soldier - Second-Class Soldier - First-Class Soldier - Deputy General - Senior General - Deputy Commandant - Commandant - Deputy Colonel - Colonel - Director-General - Secretary-General
(General, commandant, colonel)
Vampires (excluding young vampires still growing and vampires who have not yet formed a blood pact): Lord (equivalent to a leader) - Chief (in charge of overseeing a region) - Captain (organizes teams to carry out missions)
Every hundred years, vampires compete in a battle of strength. There are no rules, but an incumbent cannot refuse a challenge from a defeated opponent, whether an adult vampire or one who has just formed a blood pact. They only get one chance to challenge; afterward, the incumbent may refuse.
Even if they win, they lose their authority if problems arise in the region they oversee.
Aside from young vampires still growing and vampires who have not yet formed a blood pact, the strength of all other vampires is basically fixed. They will not see major increases in strength, frequent shifts in authority, or upheaval.
Theme: Past, present, and future are all you, just different versions of you.
Gradually I understand it a little bit. It's not easy. It's so hard to read a novel.
What a personality, the heroine, I like it
