[Prince of Tennis] I Just Want a Girlfriend

Read these warnings first: 1. The main story has no CP, but it does include some jokes and misunderstandings between men that are BL-adjacent. If you aren't comfortable with that kind of humor, please be very careful! Seriously, be careful! 2. Reader advisory: Some chapters are best not read while eating, drinking, or in public. Yukimura: Then that means we're number one in the country. Yanagi: Because we're the champions. Kirihara: I'll defend every ball that comes to my side of the court. Sanada: It is our duty to restore Rikkai's glory. Shinozaki: Getting a girl is all that matters. Everyone: ? Something's wrong with this junior.jpg Mainly set at Rikkai University of Junior High School, with a mix of fantasy and not-so-fantastical CCTV5 tennis. The whole Rikkai team is rated 5.5 to 6.0, with Yukimura and the protagonist at the top of 6.0. Some matches are written in a play-by-play match-report style, based on coaches' responses, friends' suggestions, and actual matches. There may well be mistakes, so I'm happy to receive any tennis advice and explanations, as long as they're reasonable and well supported. Once my stockpile runs out, updates will be whenever I feel like it. Nothing expressed in this story represents the author's actual views or beliefs, so please don't overthink it. There are original characters, a chuunibyou Dragon Proud Sky, possible OOC characterization and character derailment, and all kinds of jokes, but no characters from other anime show up. My writing isn't great. The word count will be whatever it ends up being. My only wish is that everyone stays healthy, doesn't push themselves, plays good tennis, and gets to be an ordinary magical middle schooler. Theme: Probably nothing like that.
