Friends, I'm sorry! I've dedicated this book to someone: we weren't especially close, but his bright, shining black eyes and gentle gaze told me that he trusted and encouraged me. When someone is kind to you, cherish it and be grateful, because they don't have to be. But later, we parted ways. Sometimes I thought I might have forgotten him, but as I grew older, I realized I had never forgotten a single thing he did, and my feelings for him had only grown more precious. Wherever he is, whatever his mood, I hope he can find memories and warmth in this book. I originally wanted to call it To My Friend: Nekhlyudov, but his name isn't Nekhlyudov, and it wouldn't be appropriate to use his real name. Why did I write this book? Isn't it because I want to say, "May your heart be like mine, and may our love never be in vain"? So I named it May Your Heart Be Like Mine. Here's what the story is about: Sangba is often "mistaken" for a noble and virtuous gentleman, untouched by the filth of the world, but few people know how much of that has to do with her clubmate, Hu Weiyi. Carrying his "lessons" and "hopes" with her, Sangba steps into the awkward world of middle school... The rest of the story may leave readers astonished, but that's life: you never know whether tomorrow or the unexpected will come first. We should face life with a positive attitude, and read with one too. I won't forget that this book is dedicated to my own "Nekhlyudov."
Theme: The meaning of youth and the importance of literature and history.
