The Phoenix Lord Won the Emperor's Favor with Werewolf

After Pei Qing died unexpectedly, he transmigrated into the world of women as an unwanted Phoenix Lord. Though he was the master of the imperial harem, the empress was wary of his powerful family. For years, he had held the title in name only, and everyone in the palace knew it.

He was bound to a frontier-style Werewolf game System. Not only did he have to promote the game in this world, he also had to cling to the empress, his most powerful backer.

Pei Qing: "Fine, I'll promote Werewolf. But why is there a favorability score, too?"

[A Phoenix Lord banished to the Cold Palace has no value whatsoever.]

Pei Qing: "...If I didn't need to complete the missions to come back to life, I'd tear apart this ridiculous System!"

[The System is perfectly proper.]

Whether Werewolf is proper, though, is another matter.

Having drawn the Seer role, Pei Qing was full of fighting spirit as he worked toward his revival. But who could have guessed...

[Night falls. Phoenix Lord, please attend the empress.]

Pei Qing: ???

You call this how Werewolf works?!

Mu Tinglan was surprised to find that her Phoenix Lord had changed.

Not only had he learned how to please her, he had also abandoned his usual cool indifference and started actively vying for her favor.

She was curious to see what tricks he had up his sleeve.

Hm? What? Werewolf?

It was supposedly meant to sharpen the minds and logic of the harem's consorts and pass the time. In reality, it brought the harem's secret intrigues out into the open, with everyone matching wits and killing one another off.

How devious!

Mu Tinglan kept her guard up, yet she was also drawn to the boy's lively, genuine nature.

Before she knew it, in a dark city ringed by high walls and thorns, a little sun had begun to shine.

◎ Women rule, men can give birth

◎ A beautiful, powerful, tragic empress VS a little ray of sunshine

◎ This isn't a proper game of Werewolf. Everyone except the male lead is a beginner. You don't need to know the rules to enjoy the story, and specific terms will be explained in the author's notes.

Theme: Gold will always shine, sooner or later.
