I dedicate this long story to the Survey Corps, and to the unregretful Levi. Sometimes I think those soldiers never came back. From the blood-soaked battlefield, they weren't buried in our earth; they became white cranes soaring through the sky. They flew here from a distant age of war, bringing their cries to our ears. That's why we so often look up, silently remembering as we gaze into the distance. The weary flock of cranes flies on and on through the sky, through the dusk and the hazy twilight. There's a little gap in their formation, perhaps a place they've left for me. One day, I'll join the flock and fly through that twilight too. From among the clouds, I'll cry out like the cranes, calling to you. Those memories can never be forgotten.
#The heroine is Levi's biological cousin. Her name is taken from One Hundred Years of Solitude.
#The title and blurb both come from an old song. I personally think it's truly fitting as a tribute to the fallen soldiers of the Survey Corps.
#The CP is probably Nanaba (male).
#The author is busy with work, so updates will come whenever. This story includes some original elements, and the timeline may differ too~
Theme: Romance
