This is a story about someone transmigrating into a book. Ning Chu didn't take it seriously at first, because she was the author of the book. She stood in God's position, watching with cold detachment.

Ning Chu entered the game with a clear head, going from detached observer to the one moving the pieces. She thought she could keep everything under control.

One day, Ji Yaoqing wakes up at the bottom of a cliff. The area is covered in dense forest, prowling with wild beasts, and completely deserted.

With a disastrous start, Ji Yaoqing can only struggle to survive. She dodges snakes and ants, only to run into a pack of wolves. Just when she's about to despair, salvation descends from the heavens.

Ji Yaoqing falls silent as she looks at the strangely dressed man in front of her.

She has transmigrated, and into the body of someone with no memories of her former life.

Following the principle of not acting until the enemy does, Ji Yaoqing blinks her clear eyes at him with an innocent, earnest look and says nothing.

"Whenever you're feeling guilty, you look at people like that. What are you scheming now?"

Great! He's an old acquaintance, too. This is going to be a tough challenge.

With no other choice, Ji Yaoqing steels herself and asks the classic question: "Who are you?"

"Have you lost your memory?" The man raises an eyebrow, sizing her up with suspicion.

Ji Yaoqing carries on with her act. "I don't know you."

The man pauses, a strange expression in his deep eyes. "Then let's get reacquainted, my childhood sweetheart!"

The end! She runs into the hell boss from the start. How is she supposed to play this? Is Heaven playing a trick on her?

For countless days afterward, Ji Yaoqing has to keep up the act, afraid the guy beside her will notice something's off.

But... things keep getting stranger.

One day, she plucks up the courage to ask, "Why do you think some people in this world are so compatible, whether in their thoughts, actions, or interests?"

A fog swirls in Xie Yixing's eyes as he looks at her meaningfully. "Maybe... it's been a long time in the making!"

Only later does Ji Yaoqing realize that this guy really had been planning it all along.
