Song Yu wakes up to find that she has transmigrated into a melodramatic novel she just finished reading. She's now an obscure actress kept by film star Qi Shiyin. On the surface, Qi Shiyin dotes on her, but in reality, Song Yu is a stand-in for Qi Shiyin's beloved first love, and is tormented half to death.
Romance is bad for you. Isn't it better to focus on making money?
Lying in Qi Shiyin's bed, Song Yu gets straight to the point: "I'll be your stand-in, but you have to pay up. Money and sex, no feelings."
Qi Shiyin: ???
As a beloved couple with a good reputation in showbiz, the two are invited to take part in a popular new reality show.
Song Yu: "No problem. I'm a professional actress. I'll play whatever role you want, as long as you pay me."
When the show airs, viewers see Song Yu desperately trying to please Qi Shiyin with her clumsy acting.
Viewer 1: "Have they hit the seven-year itch?"
Viewer 2: "Are they having relationship problems?"
Viewer 3: "Maybe I'll finally get to see my Shiyin get divorced and become single!"
Song Yu tries her best to play the perfect stand-in, but her acting can't quite carry the role, and one mishap after another ensues. Luckily, she has saved up enough money, and at last gets to slap the divorce papers onto Qi Shiyin's face.
Facing Song Yu, who stands there with her hands on her hips, smugly demanding a divorce, Qi Shiyin's carefully constructed look of cool indifference, mocking scorn, and nonchalance finally cracks. "I've been working so hard every day to play along with you, and you want to dump me?!"

One day, Qi Shiyin wakes up to find that her beloved wife of many years, Song Yu, has lost her memory. Song Yu insists that she's transmigrated into a tragic novel, and that Qi Shiyin is a heartless woman who torments her half to death.
Qi Shiyin takes Song Yu to see doctor after doctor, but nothing works. Song Yu is convinced that Qi Shiyin and the doctors are conspiring to brainwash her.
With no other choice, Qi Shiyin follows the doctor's advice and decides to act out the story with Song Yu. She pretends to be entangled with a nonexistent first love, and hands Song Yu tissues whenever she fake-cries.
When she sees Song Yu saving money, she secretly transfers some to her. When someone bullies Song Yu, she protects her from the shadows. When netizens speculate that their marriage is falling apart, she promptly posts a clarification online.
But she never imagined that she'd end up with divorce papers in her hands.
Qi Shiyin: "Damn it, I can't keep acting out this story!"
A sweet 1v1 romance with fake transmigration into a book, fake stand-in drama, fake marriage-first-love-later, and fake wife-chasing crematorium. This is a silly comedy with no regard for logic. Everything is just Song Yu's imagination. If this sounds fun, please add it to your favorites, pretty please! QAQ
