The students in the second year of high school are split into arts and sciences classes.

Xia Tingle is put in the same class as Xiang Ze, the biggest troublemaker and scumbag at No. 1 High School.

Everyone worries Xiang Ze will make a move on Xia Tingle and tells her to stay away from him.

Xia Tingle says: He doesn't like girls like me, and I'm not interested in him at all. There's no spark between us. You're all imagining things.

They relax, but not for long.

Xia Tingle gets cornered at the entrance.

Xiang Ze curls his lips into a smile. "I never said there was no spark between us."

He's the terror of North Street, a taekwondo black belt, and once took on thirty people by himself and became famous across Jiangcheng. If you dare touch me, I'll... hmph. You know what I mean!"

Xiang Ze lowers his eyes and smiles. He gently smooths her hair where it has fallen over her forehead, as if soothing a kitten. "Mm, so fierce."

The first time Xiang Ze saw Xia Tingle was in his first year of high school, not long after he had transferred here.

He was asleep at his desk.

Their class was a mess, and the back rows were especially rowdy.

She stood by the back door, her hair tied in a high ponytail, wearing a neat, clean uniform and canvas shoes. Her bright eyes sparkled, and her smile was pure and radiant. A bunch of boys surrounded her.

He woke up at the noise and glanced at them with half-lidded eyes. When his friend saw him staring at her for a long time, he introduced her.

"Xia Tingle, the beauty of the top class. Pretty, right?"

Everyone thought he would pursue her, but he didn't.

At first, he really hadn't planned to do anything to her. He was used to being a screwup and had no reason to drag a good girl down with him. But fate brought her right in front of him, and he couldn't stand seeing her smile so brightly at the people around her.
