[Announcement]: The update schedule has changed to before midnight. If there's no update, I've flaked. ()
Story blurb:
As an ordinary wage slave working three jobs and a side gig just to eat, Bo Ning was walking down the street like any other day when he transmigrated to another world and became a dragon.
In this world, magic and witchcraft flourished side by side, elves and dwarves fought, sea demons sang in the ruins of the North Sea, and dragons slept on islands strewn with gold.
Freshly hatched from his shell, Bo Ning was utterly bewildered. Why had he been born a dragon near a human settlement? Was he supposed to become an evil dragon for them to hunt?
Fortunately, he wasn't alone. His newly awakened talent let him summon a certain number of followers from different planes:
A malicious demon, a sea demon unable to sing, a wandering half-elf, and, most importantly, a bunch of weird... people made of modeling clay (?) and others. They cursed the lousy developers with such practiced ease. Were they...
the legendary Fourth Calamity?
Unlike his other followers, the players he summoned created their characters using his energy, so their experience was shared with Bo Ning. As long as he had enough players, he could level up on the spot. The System would never have to worry about me running into a dragon-slaying squad again. (Thumbs up.)
So, using a System that could connect Blue Star with the other world, Bo Ning released a full-dive game: Dragon Legend.
*
Dragon Legend, the first full-dive game on all of Blue Star, had arrived out of nowhere.
At first, Blue Star's people reacted: "Is this a scam? Where did this full-dive game come from? And you're recruiting beta testers? You can't even show us a screenshot, and you expect us to believe you're not scammers?"
Later came the second and third beta tests... As the game received updates and its player base grew, more and more screenshots, videos, and discussions about gameplay from Dragon Legend spread online.
#I can't afford a house in real life, but surely I can buy a manor in another world?
#The chances of writing my thesis in-game the day before it's due
#The chances of doing rehab in-game
The people of Blue Star: Let me go! Stop trying to keep me from playing!
[Reading notes]:
1. An egg from the start (x), with a System, no CP [highlighted]
2. City-building + Fourth Calamity + growing up, with game forum content. The male lead is the author's precious baby, and his golden finger is huge. The whole story is fictional and has nothing to do with the real world. It's all stuff the author made up, so don't believe it.
3. The author is a useless little snack. My writing is bad and my logic is shaky, and I revise the story all the time. I'm already trying hard to study and improve, okay? QAQ
4. Kindly declining writing advice. I write however I like, and everyone can read however they like. If you don't enjoy it, click X and leave. Let's part on good terms. Heart~
This story will go VIP on February 9, with a 10,000-word update that day. Thanks for your support, darlings! (*>︶<*)
Here's a preview of my next story!
Below is the blurb for The Demon Lord Was Me All Along
When Fu Yu, who had lost his memories as a child, was unexpectedly picked up by Ge Tian, Sword Venerable of the Guiyi Sect, he was taken on as a disciple because he had the same mutated ice spirit root as Ge Tian. Time passed, the world changed, and Ge Tian gradually retired from public life. Fu Yu became one of the sect's foremost Immortals and took on a young disciple of his own.
Who could have guessed that, after surviving the Nascent Soul tribulation and reaching the half-step to Spirit Transformation, Fu Yu would slowly regain his memories? He remembered that he was actually the famous demonic cultivator leader Huan Yan, and that he had split off a spiritual incarnation to deceive the Heavenly Dao and survive the death tribulation destined for him.
He didn't know whether the Heavenly Dao had been fooled, but everyone in the immortal sects now believed that he was unquestionably the foremost figure of the immortal path. :)
Fu Yu, who had tried to survive his death tribulation by using an incarnation to deceive Heaven, chose to endure the humiliation and continue being an Immortal Venerable.
But as a Spirit Transformation cultivator, he had no one around who would just come along and kill him. So Fu Yu came up with a brilliant plan: I'll kill myself and see if that gets me through the death tribulation.
So he returned to his true self and ordered his followers to attack the immortal sects. Meanwhile, as the chief Immortal Venerable of Guiyi Sect, the greatest sect under heaven, Fu Yu naturally had to join the battle. If his true self killed him, then even if he failed to survive the tribulation, he could regain his identity and reclaim the power of his incarnation.
Who knew that everyone at Guiyi Sect would risk their lives to save him, pulling Fu Yu back from the brink?
Fu Yu: ...
Fu Yu had no choice but to think of another way to find his true self or get himself killed somehow, but every time, his friends and fellow disciples saved him.
And after all their entanglements, rumors began to spread throughout the cultivation world, along with all sorts of moving, tragic stories about Immortal Venerable Huailing and Demon Venerable Huan Yan's love-hate relationship (...). The rumor that they were in love supposedly began among the demonic cultivators. They said that every time the Demon Venerable went into battle, he forbade them from striking to kill.
As the stories, cough, rumors grew more and more widespread, even his own well-behaved young disciple started looking at him strangely.
Then one day, after doggedly persisting, Fu Yu finally managed to get himself to his true self's palace. Just as he was about to kill himself and reclaim his incarnation, his disciple came charging in with a bloodstained sword in hand, only to see his master in black and white looking back at him at the same time. He froze.
Fu Yu: Help... I just wanted to get through a tribulation.
Theme: Whatever situation you're in, keep striving to live, grow stronger, and make the world a better place.
Dad, why don't you just tell me the outline and we can figure it out ourselves?
To be honest, I am waiting for the ending. If there is no ending, I will feel that everything is in vain. Isn't it a trap? (*??????)
I still wanted to raise it, but I received a rebate.
Solution v is returned, woo woo woo
Damn, I just read this article. It's very well written. Why did you give up? [Crying]
Points returned? Is this really a scam? Stop it
It's been two years... Even if you reopen this article next year, I won't read it again.
I experienced your pitfalls twice in this book. The first time was two years ago. I read more than 30 chapters and it seemed like you were pitfalling me. The second time was a year ago, and it was also well-written and suddenly fell into my trap. I was very happy when you reopened it a year ago, but... I have no patience anymore. Goodbye
