In the year 2121, with just ten months left before the apocalypse prophecy comes true, a livestream called "The Devil's Trial Ground" appears before humanity. The devil randomly pulls varying numbers of people into the trial ground. Those who clear it successfully receive all kinds of rewards, including magical items and supernatural abilities. Failure, however, brings a fate that will haunt humanity's nightmares.
Feng Suxi is the master of this "Devil's Trial Ground." After witnessing the apocalypse arrive and humanity become prey in a slaughterhouse for higher life forms, he is reborn a year before the end of the world and obtains a Devil Character Card. The card requires him to play a perfect devil. The better he plays the role, the stronger he becomes. Otherwise, the card's power will consume him.
So Feng Suxi puts on what he thinks is a devil's outfit, bares his teeth at his reflection, and says, "Come on, humanity's future depends on me."
Qiu Shixu is the true incarnation of the god of disaster and terror. When he closes The Little Prince in the library, he suddenly sees Feng Suxi, playing the devil with two plastic horns and newly fitted fangs, pretending to be a devil and scaring mortals.

The bells of the apocalypse toll, and amid the night and smoke, rose-colored hope slowly rises.
