{War of the Kings} Choice

"Gu Wei, I'm back!" Chen Yu stood before the bamboo nameplate he'd dreamed of countless times, unable to take another step. Nervous, he didn't dare move forward. How had the boy in white been these past ten years, the one whose smile could melt Meili Snow Mountain and whose heart was purer than morning dew? Ten years had passed. Just when Chen Yu thought he would never return in this lifetime, an order from his superior, as if by some strange twist of fate, forced him back to the place he least wanted to go, where he might have to face the person he least wanted to see. "Chen Yu, you shouldn't have come back." His smile was unchanged, but the broad stain of blood on his snow-white shirt shattered the last of Chen Yu's hope. He was a thorn-covered rose, a poisonous poppy. Once you were touched by him, you could never let him go. He said, "Do you know? Ever since the day you left, red has been my favorite color." He said, "Chen Yu, I really miss you so much!" He said, "Take me with you..." He said, "Chen Yu, you are my life. Now I'm giving my life to you. Will you keep me by your side?" Who was right and who was wrong? Which was black and which was white? An angel in white, or a demon of the night? As layer upon layer of mist is cleared away, is he still the person he used to be? And can Chen Yu still be the person he used to be? His heart belongs to only one person: you...
