Saving My Beautiful, Strong, Tragic Childhood Friend

Li Er woke up one day to discover that the world she lived in was a novel, and her childhood friend was a handsome, tragic villain who would eventually turn evil and embark on a life of crime. To save him, she kept a close eye on everything he did, sticking by his side like a little shadow, afraid he might do something rash one day. Pei Yan: "..." He couldn't understand why his best friend had suddenly become so clingy. Eating, sleeping, going to the bathroom, whatever he did, she had to come along. He was exasperated, but still indulged her. At last, they safely made it past the novel's turning point, when he was supposed to turn evil. Overjoyed, Li Er set off fireworks to celebrate. No longer keeping an eye on Pei Yan, she decided to find herself a sweet romance. After dinner with a tall, sunny underclassman from the sports department, she had just returned home when Pei Yan pinned her to the sofa. He smelled of alcohol, his eyes were dark, and he leaned close to her ear, his voice hoarse. "If you want to date someone, why not choose me? Am I not as good as him?" P.S. A little sunshine and a sickly beauty versus a straight guy who turns himself gay to protect his wife. I had no inspiration for the previous blurb, so I changed it. I'm very sorry. Theme: The most beautiful love is when two people choose each other.
