① When I first started writing this, I just wanted to indulge in some classic otome-game Mary Sue wish fulfillment, so I wrote the first five chapters in a burst of enthusiasm and then stopped. When I came back to it six months later, I started thinking about the plot, so you may notice a difference between the writing style of the first five chapters and Chapter Six onward. The extras were also written earlier.
② About the secondary pairing: From the start, I planned to give Rei Furuya a female character who could fight alongside him. Whether they end up together, whether they truly like each other, and whether she survives to the end are all unknown.
③ About the main pairing: Hiromitsu Morofushi and the heroine are devoted to each other and protect one another, in a one-on-one relationship. Jinpei Matsuda is a friend she can trust to watch her back.
④ The cases in this story are all original. The author isn't especially clever, so I can't come up with perfect crimes and deductions. The logic is far-fetched most of the time. All I can do is learn and improve as I write. If you're a hardcore mystery fan, this isn't for you!
