Have you ever wondered what a two-dimensional world looks like to higher-dimensional beings?
Having transmigrated into a world of anime without being reduced in dimension, I can tell you the answer.

I don't know how to explain it. Long story short, I'm kind of freaking out.
To put it simply, I write novels, and then I transmigrated while wearing the character design shell I'd just finished making.
This shell belongs to an outrageously adorable little boy. But here's a ghost story for you: even though I transmigrated into a two-dimensional world, I don't seem to have been reduced in dimension. Everyone looks like a paper cutout to me.
That's right, the genuine article: paper people.
Flat, with no depth at all. They all move across one enormous surface, so it doesn't feel like I've entered a two-dimensional world in the slightest.
I'm choking up, everyone.
Is this world made of paper? It's one thing for it to look that way, but why are the characters, buildings, and scenery all on the same sheet?
It's like a movie screen, and I can't even touch it. Am I, a three-dimensional person, not worthy!? No, I have to find a way to get inside this sheet of paper.

At some point, the stray dogs of Yokohama and the sorcerers of Tokyo began noticing a strange child who kept suddenly appearing near them, only to disappear just as abruptly. No matter how hard they investigated, they couldn't find a trace of him.
He was beautiful, with black hair and eyes of different colors. He looked very young and seemed to have uncontrollable spatial powers, like a beautiful, fragile butterfly.
At first, everyone thought the poor kid had escaped from some shady research facility, until
The strongest white-haired sorcerer personally saw him casually rip a special-grade cursed spirit in half;
A certain hat rack's ability had no effect on him at all;
A certain creepy, human-like cursed spirit was rolled and squashed into a ball by him;
A certain bandage-wrapped man who tried to jump to his death in the middle of the night was caught in midair and hauled back onto the rooftop by him...
Everyone: What the hell!?
This kid is nothing like we thought, is he???

Reading Guide:
1. The protagonist is a ten-year-old boy and will never grow up. He is completely frozen in time.
2. In the first paragraph of the blurb, the protagonist is in a fully higher-dimensional form and can't interact with a two-dimensional world made of nothing but a "surface." Later, he will lower his dimensionality of his own accord, but retain the privileges of a higher-dimensional being, namely dimensional dominance.
3. Warning: this is an abnormal transmigration! This isn't a normal story, and the protagonist isn't a normal protagonist either!!
4. The story uses third-person narration and is basically all nonsense. None of it is real, so don't take it seriously.
After all, the author has never transmigrated either (.)

Can you wake me from this world that is both false and real?
Theme: Don't be afraid. Take a big step forward.
