While carrying out her duties, the Ninefold Nether Immortal Beiming Tingxue crossed paths with Xiao Mingke, an official from the Human Realm's Investigation Bureau. As they subdued a Nether Monster together, they uncovered a shocking conspiracy.
Why was the prefectural clerk beyond the control of reincarnation, free from the Six Paths? The Five Ghosts were dead, so who had cast the Five Ghost Soul-Locking Formation? Xiao Mingke despised immortals, so where had the power of annihilation in his body come from? The imperial dynasty was shaken by an earthquake, the Six Realms lost contact, and a thousand-year-old state religion was slaughtered. What kind of divine revelation was this meant to conceal? Eighty-one towns, millions of people missing, and the Heaven-Refining Formation rising. What sort of conspiracy lay behind it all?
Qinghe died, Tingxue's soul vanished, Houtu appeared in the world, and Donghuang's bell rang. It was as if an unseen hand were pushing everything forward. Was it one of the Three High Sages, or someone else?
Theme: The difference between good and evil isn't which race wins or loses, but what lies in the heart. Often, the most righteous person is the one controlling the entire conspiracy.
Damn, your layout is too dense.
