Mei Po'e loves fluffy things. In an empire suffering from a severe shortage of Guides, his ordinary parents conceal his Guide identity.
The secret doesn't matter much to Mei Po'e, since he thinks he's simply a Guide with terrible psychic abilities.
But one day, as he passes by, he sees Zu Xiaoqu, disheveled, filthy, and timid, and Zu Xiaoqu immediately clings to him.
The frail, shrinking, good-for-nothing Zu Xiaoqu, mocked by the whole school, drags himself over to Mei Po'e and solemnly says, "Please date a good-for-nothing like me!"
Zu Xiaoqu's mother places a check in front of Mei Po'e. Mei Po'e's eyes light up, anticipating a certain familiar scene, but the beautiful woman says:
"Name your price."
"Ahem, ma'am, you..."
"Eighty million. Please marry my son."
By a strange twist of fate, Mei Po'e's true identity is exposed: he is a highly controlling, powerful Guide. The empire goes wild, and Sentinels come flocking, scaring him into making a run for it.
Zu Xiaoqu feels the danger closing in. His own hidden identity explodes into the open at the same time, causing an uproar.
A highly controlling Guide who disguises himself as an "ordinary" human Guide with average looks and aptitude to avoid being recognized: Mei Po'e.
A "good-for-nothing" Sentinel whose powers and memories were forcibly sealed by the imperial family to protect him after his strength drove him berserk: Zu Xiaoqu.
The bottom dotes on the top. At heart, this is a lighthearted, sweet story.
Theme: Guides are so adorable, of course they should be spoiled to the fullest!
