I’m a Slacker in the Demon Realm

Lu Wanwan never imagined that after being reborn, she would become a reptile: a snake by the River of Oblivion. Unable to resist the tempting fragrance of an Immortal Spirit Herb, she accidentally swallowed it and finally managed to transform into a human. But because the herb belonged to someone, she was forced to become a lowly servant under the Xuanmen Sect.

White-Robed Immortal: Consider yourself lucky, little demon. Since you ate my immortal herb, naturally you must repay me with your service. The medicinal fields in the Demon Realm are yours to look after.

Lu Wanwan: Can I spit it out and give it back?

White-Robed Immortal: Believe it or not, I can destroy you with a spell!

Lu Wanwan caved and began a laid-back life tending flowers and plants in the Demon Realm. Occasionally, she listened to gossip about the Heavenly Emperor's family and the Demon Lord's residence, watched the souls across the River of Oblivion throw tantrums, and told stories to the demons along the road to earn a few spirit orbs. Life was pleasant and carefree, and she was immortal to boot.

Demons of the Demon Realm: Hey, want to cultivate together?

Lu Wanwan: Thanks for asking! I have no grand ambitions, and I don't want to join in your debauchery.

Then one day, the immortal's disciple, the Heavenly Emperor's daughter, the Grand Princess Chenguang, accidentally fell into the cycle of gossip and reincarnation. Lu Wanwan was forcibly sent to the mortal realm as her guardian. In an instant, the River of Oblivion was thrown into turmoil, and a hundred thousand evil spirits escaped.

Lu Wanwan, stunned.jpg: What? I'm not a snake spirit, I'm a stone, the Stone of Nuwa used to guard the River of Oblivion? Then... I didn't eat the Immortal Spirit Herb after all, so was I enslaved for nothing?!

P.S. Shh, let me tell you a secret: the White-Robed Immortal comes from Ziyang Cave on Qingfeng Mountain and holds an honorary post as Bingling Lord of the Three Mountains. The legendary Erlang Shen and Third Prince Nezha are both his fellow disciples.

Theme: Stay close to the Xuanmen Sect, and you can roam the Six Realms and Four Seas.
