The Year I Died at Liujiasi

My life was short, lasting only sixteen years. Time passed in a fleeting instant, like a new shoot just beginning to sprout, never even becoming a touch of red among the branches. But when I look back on my life, I can't help feeling that the sixteen years Heaven gave me were all wasted. Someone like me shouldn't have been born into this world at all. My life should have been taken back on the day I was born. Then my mother wouldn't have had to die for nothing.

Theme: To survive, cut down every last shred of kindness.
