She spent her whole life here, never once thinking of leaving.
Her love and hatred were here, and she never thought she would forget them.
Her friends and enemies were here, and more were dead than still alive.
At twenty, her face was already etched with the passage of time. She had never been beautiful in this life, and in the end, this life would never be complete.
Morning sunlight fades, and autumn frost gathers in the mist. With delicate hands, she adorns her serene face. The west wind pays no heed to her quiet thoughts, leaving only a sigh: loneliness stretches on.
Restrain wildness, uphold chastity, and mourn the cinnabar mark. Whether jade remains whole or shatters like tile, what can be done? He leaves her lost and dazed for a lifetime.
I dare not dream of a world without limits. The only things to accompany me to the grave in this life are a memorial arch and a cinnabar mark., Shangguan Zhen
Theme:
I read the reviews and thought the heroine was frivolous, but after reading the article I felt the reviews were untrustworthy. The heroine entered the palace as a concubine at the age of six, and the second male lead did not let her feel love and tenderness in ten years. In addition, her maternal grandfather's family was punished and her mother died. Then the second male lead took concubines and doted on his concubines. Isn't it normal for her to become cold-hearted? In the end, she showed kindness to the second male, not because of love at all, but because she wanted to protect the person she wanted to protect, and had to bow to power. Still love the second male lead? No, she was just unwilling to give in. After ten years of hard work, she didn't want her love to be unrequited.
I found the treasure novel and jumped to the end of it. Although it was written ten years ago, the setting that the heroine did not protect herself from her trash ex-husband was simply amazing. There are actually people dissing the heroine's cheating in the comments?? Although the trash ex-husband of the second male lead may have feelings for the heroine in his heart, from the perspective of the heroine, after entering the palace, he was coldly and violently humiliated by the dog emperor for more than ten years, violently slapped in the face until he became deaf in his left ear, and then he was still a filthy bastard who slept with countless concubines. If the heroine can protect such a piece of shit like a jade, she must be the reincarnation of the arch spirit!
Damn it, here I go again, I have been thinking, why did the heroine fall into the gentle trap of the second male lead? The second male lead just gave the heroine some hints, and the heroine thought that the emperor loved her, but in fact the emperor was moody. Sometimes he showed love for her, and sometimes he was extremely ruthless and completely tortured the heroine. Isn't this a proper NPD personality? He showed kindness to the heroine first, but later did not communicate with the heroine, ignored the heroine's needs, and controlled the heroine's emotions. As a result, the heroine was in agony but couldn't live without him, mistakenly thinking that the emperor loved her, and suffered from this kind of long-term internal friction. He killed my entire family, but he seemed to love me. He slapped me in the face, but then he began to think about the future tenderly, so the heroine was abused by him and loved him at the same time. The worst part was me. I brought the heroine into her, so I also experienced her mental journey. I was wondering how to get out of this trap. It is really bad luck to meet an NPD personality. If he didn't die, the heroine would be unable to save herself for the rest of her life. I just recently learned a writing technique called deceptive writing. How to write an abusive article? It means that the male protagonist obviously doesn't love you that much, but from the female protagonist's perspective, people mistakenly think that the male protagonist actually loves you very much, but if he loves him, he can't do those things, so there is no way to torture him. It can be said that the author is perfect in using it on emperors and girls.
In fact, I have no intention to criticize the author. I think since he is willing to write about a heroine who chooses a warm male protagonist instead of choosing a scumbag for the sake of chastity, I believe he still has the correct three views (some feudal remnants in the comment section really want to vomit). I read this novel when I was very young, and it still affected my outlook on life, because I think what the author conveyed to me is that people should always choose someone who is positive and can bring strength to you as their partner, rather than that doggy man who makes you feel endless internal friction and is aloof and says nothing. But when I read this work again after at least ten years, I found that the author deliberately abused the heroine. Maybe abuse of the heroine was popular at that time, so the author also chose this style, but it was very uncomfortable for me when I read it again. I can't accept why you deliberately torture the heroine? This is the first romance novel I have ever read in my life. I really love it, but the abuse of women in the book makes it really hard for me to read it. The author is like a creator who puts all the suffering on the heroine, letting the heroine be immersed in love all her life, and yet so much pain happens to her. The deprivation of the heroine seems to be punishing a person. I can't stand torture. A gentleman is far away from the kitchen.
Too bad!!! Sima Di died like this! My group of sisters and I cried miserably. We all said that if the male protagonist is dead, how can we continue writing this novel? But then we saw the front page, and it turned out that Cha Yuanhe was the male protagonist!!! Well. The author is so cruel, Sima Di doesn't even know how he died!!!!! And he hasn't officially married the one he loves yet!!!!!!
They are all a bunch of lunatics...
So they are together?
The heroine is so miserable, and all the women in it are so miserable. The characters are so complicated that I feel so sad after watching it. Feudal ethics eat up women and even the scum is left. It makes me feel bad for being tortured.
After so many years, I find that I still dare not watch it. No matter how heartbreaking the process is, I just want a happy ending.
When I was in middle school, I read a lot of novels, many of them particularly sad, but I never cried before. The two times I cried were both works by Chi Da, one was Tears of Gongsha and the other was The Lotus of the Confused World. They didn't have dramatic descriptions, but they touched my heart inexplicably. Love does not necessarily have to end happily together. Fulfillment for love is true love.
