Qin Nuohe met Muller when he was six. Back then, Muller was the beloved ringleader of the kids in the Xingfu Road compound, beautiful and righteous, with the nickname Queen of Flowers. Qin Nuohe was convinced that Muller had to be the most beautiful girl in the world. Who could have guessed that, just after starting middle school, he’d run into the most beautiful girl in the world in the boys’ locker room? Qin Nuohe: We’d been together for six or seven years, and I never knew Muller was a boy! When they started high school, Qin Nuohe finally caught on to his feelings and chased after Muller every day. Muller didn’t seem to mind, either. They promised to meet at the top after the college entrance exams. Qin Nuohe made it to the top, just as planned, but Muller disappeared without a trace. Ten years apart. Qin Nuohe ran into Muller again at the hospital. Determined to pursue a career in medicine, Muller was wearing a nurse’s uniform and easily defused a commotion. Qin Nuohe: Why did you suddenly disappear back then? Muller: Then why didn’t you come looking for me? That night, Qin Nuohe was drowning his sorrows in a bar when he heard a familiar voice singing. He turned to look: Huh, that cross-dressing singer onstage in a qipao... I think I know him. Waiter: Oh, that’s our headlining singer. His name is Queen of Flowers. About this novel: 1.
