Blurb:

Everyone says that people in the arts have to wear their hair long, flowing over their shoulders, and look beautiful. Qin Sisi thinks those old-fashioned ideas are bullshit. She'll wear her hair however she likes, so she gets it cut short.

Fu Yuan is the top police beauty on the force. "Top" is meant literally: she was born with long arms and legs, and by the time she joined the force, she had grown to 1.83 meters tall. Everyone says she looks neither male nor female. So, to make people see her as a woman, she grows her hair long.

After a long separation, the two meet again while working on the same case.

Qin Sisi never imagined that the handsome, sharp-looking tomboy with short hair from back then would now have long, beautiful hair and be a poised, mature beauty.

Fu Yuan never imagined that the delicate little princess with waist-length hair from back then would now have a crisp short haircut, both lovely and spirited.

When they meet again, both are at a loss for words. They suddenly cannot remember whether they cut or grew their hair to escape the prejudice of those around them, or for the woman standing before them.

"Long time no see, my short-haired little princess."

"Long time no see, my long-haired tomboy."

Li Lian'er, daughter of a renowned constable, disguises herself and enters the martial world to investigate the case. Who would have thought that saving a stunningly beautiful brothel girl would draw her into a tangled affair in the martial world?

Everyone says that the demon sect's wicked woman, Yin Ji, is a heartless monster who commits every evil under the sun. If that's so, why not make the rumor true?

But she never expected there to be a woman so innocent yet determined, so pure and untainted. Ah, she really wants to corrupt her.
