Stop Adding Drama to the Tool Character's Little Butler!

To straighten out the Lu family's unruly, rebellious young master, the family sends Lin Qi, the old butler's well-mannered, academically accomplished, gentle and reserved grandson, to stay by Lu Jiangye's side around the clock, hoping that being close to him will rub off on the young master. Everyone says Lin Qi was raised by the Lu family and takes his duties as a little butler seriously. But in reality, this little butler seems to have two faces. Behind the Lu family's back, he's especially obsequious toward Lu Jiangye, always slyly hinting that they share a childhood bond and have an extraordinary relationship. He's conceited and delusional. Lu Jiangye thinks so too, until an accident gives him the ability to read minds. Sometimes he can even see the images in other people's thoughts One of his underlings ingratiatingly offers him a cigarette. Lu Jiangye leans lazily against the wall, legs crossed, and takes it. In the end, Lu Jiangye tosses the cigarette away, lifts his chin at his underling to indicate Lin Qi, and says in a low voice, “I'm quitting smoking from now on. He won't let me smoke.” The underling sucks in a breath and whips around to look at Lin Qi, as if he's some kind of “wicked imperial concubine.” Lin Qi: “...” Was that what he meant just now?! Later, word gradually spreads that the little butler at Lu Jiangye's side loves to be sarcastic and say the opposite of what he means, and that he's already getting too big for his boots around Lu Jiangye. So everyone, Lin Qi included, assumes that Lu Jiangye must be at the end of his rope. They all wait for him to kick Lin Qi to the curb. But what they see in the end is Lu Jiangye holding Lin Qi in his arms, seemingly nonchalant but brimming with possessiveness, coaxing him in a low voice: “Mm, I like you best. I'll only listen to you, all right?” Lin Qi: “...” ●●●●●● Theme: Never surrender to fate. Take control of your own life
