Rain Falls Over Jiangnan

I resent that you’re unlike the moon above the river tower,

traveling north and south, east and west,

north and south, east and west,

always together, never apart.

I resent that you’re just like the moon above the river tower,

waxing briefly, then waning,

waxing briefly, then waning.

When will we ever be reunited?

The male lead has yet to be decided.
