Izumo Fushi is the second son of the Izumo Group, one of Japan's top conglomerates. He has a twin brother and a younger brother who plays tennis at Rikkai Dai.

Rumor has it that he's got a terrible personality, but with a face like his, he still has countless admirers.
After returning to Japan one day to attend high school, he chooses Inarizaki, where half the school seems to be from the countryside.
One day, before a match, a reporter asks, "Izumo, there are many schools across Japan with strong volleyball teams. Why did you choose Inarizaki?"
