In pursuit of rapid economic growth, people were willing to sacrifice the environment. As a result, decades later the Earth withered like autumn leaves. Sandstorms swept through every corner of the cities, and flowers, green grass, blue skies, and white clouds became memories found only in books and films. After an accident, a boy named Houpu and his friends stepped into a time machine at the science museum. Guided by the machine, they returned to the world before it withered and saw how beautiful the Earth's environment had once been.
