When supporting character Luo Yishu was "written out," an accident sent her straight from the book into the real world.
Looking back on her turbulent (melodramatic), grand (uneventful) life in the book, she resolved to give up on love, become a corporate drone, and seek the meaning of life.
But things didn't go as she hoped. She had escaped the world of the book, only to unexpectedly run into the real-life inspiration for its male lead. Her built-in "heart-fluttering buff" always left her flustered.
Rising young star Xu Huan was struggling with his acting. His new drama had been mocked as a romance between two robots. He tried every possible way to improve, but nothing worked, until he met a mysterious girl who always managed to touch his heart.
Theme: How women can hold on to themselves in love.
