The day after the huge explosion in Suribachi Street, the members of the Sheep found a child at the center of the ruins.
He said his name was Nakahara Chuuya.
They took the child, who had nothing but his name, back with them and welcomed him as one of the Sheep.
King of the Sheep: that was what people called Nakahara Chuuya seven years later.
He was strong and proud, but neither conceited nor reckless. He was protective of his own, courteous, clear on right and wrong, and deeply loyal.
He was a dazzling diamond, one even the darkness wanted to keep for itself.
Diamonds must be scorched by fire.
Only after the flames die out can they shed all impurities and become pure.
But who knew? The diamond only wanted to stay in the fire forever.
He only wanted to remain forever in that tender, blazing fire.
1. A story about Chuuya growing up little by little among the Sheep.
2. No pairings. The female lead and Chuuya have a familial relationship.
3. There will basically be no plot from the original work. That part of the original doesn't have much plot anyway, so this is more of a slice-of-life story.
4. Any out-of-character writing is on me. There may be some headcanons. I researched the timeline as best I could, so it should be all right... probably?
5. My writing is bad, so please go easy on me. The author is desperate for comments!!! Thank you!
