With his engagement banquet fast approaching, everyone around him felt sorry for Qin Wang.
The reason was simple: his arranged marriage was to Jiang Chu, known as a human weapon. She was not as sweet and charming as a caged songbird, and a bomb had blown off both her hands, leaving her disabled.
Yet she was famous, so Qin Wang couldn’t just call off the wedding on a whim.
Talk about bad luck. Truly terrible luck.
Little did his childhood friends know that while they were shedding sympathetic tears for Qin Wang, Young Master Qin was holed up in his room, cramming on romance.
The next day, he put on a perfectly tailored suit and tucked a book titled “Your First Date: How to Hide the Fact That You’re a Hopelessly Clueless Virgin from Your Crush” into his pocket. Full of confidence, he drove his flashy little coupe, its back seat stuffed with roses, to find Jiang Chu.
In his imagination, he would appear before Jiang Chu holding roses like a prince, and she would fall for him at first sight.
In reality, Jiang Chu merely glanced up. Holding the roses, he immediately forgot the opening line he had carefully revised a hundred times the night before. Blushing and stammering, he said, “H-hello. I’m your fu-future wife.”
#I only had to see her pass by to love her forever#
P.S. Older woman/younger man romance. The female lead is ill without realizing it, and the male lead saves her.
Theme: Sincerity
Damn, why don't you write anymore? Don't be so bald and useless.
Damn, are you a colonel or a general? These two military ranks should not be mixed, right?
Good-looking(○`ε?○)
I think it's outrageous. In today's peaceful times, most people respect soldiers. The female protagonist is already a general and yet she is ignored. Is this a strong-willed male protagonist? Seeing those people disrespecting the heroine as a soldier, is their country going to be doomed? Although I know this is just a novel, I am really angry!!!
