"Life is a sinking ship, but we must not forget to sing in the lifeboats." - Remus Lupin
"Lumos. It's what I do most often: kindle a tiny light in the darkness."
An ordinary story about two people saving each other. A love that others don't approve of.
Interestingly, the first thing the heroine says to Lupin is: "I hate chocolate."
*The story is told from both the hero's and the heroine's perspectives.
*The story begins in 1994, during Harry's third year. (The heroine is in her fourth year.)
Now, an introduction to the heroine:
You are Vera Parkinson.
The eldest daughter of the Parkinson family and Pansy Parkinson's older sister.
Although you come from a pure-blood family, your mother was a Veela. You are the illegitimate daughter of your mother and your father.
At the age of ten, you left your deceased mother's side and came to live with the Parkinson family.
For many reasons, your childhood was dark, both before and after you came to the Parkinson family. (The specific reasons will be revealed later.)
House: Slytherin. (*This is not a story focused on any one house.)
Vera is extremely insecure and has a histrionic personality. No one has ever been able to reach her broken heart, except him: Remus Lupin.
He is covered in scars and afraid of the light.
She is utterly filthy and barely survives in the darkness.
The author is also currently serializing another story, Snape's Little Lion.
Updates are at the author's leisure. Long reviews are welcome.
Theme: Every misfortune can become something beautiful
Vera is really heartbreaking www. I hope everyone will have a happy ending. Madam, please beg me.
Looking forward to a big update. Lupine is really the White Moonlight in Harry Potter. Even if the heroine has an unfortunate life experience, the heroine and Lupine can heal each other.
Happy Dragon Boat Festival!
