From inside the window, the first thing that catches your eye is the dark, iron-gray city wall, confining and crushing countless dreams. Bionic people have recently become popular in the northern district. An underground city has sprung up in the east. The western district boasts advanced medicine, while the southern district is rich in resources.
Every night, Ideal City is cloaked in dazzling neon lights. Maglev cars race past as people with all kinds of expressions hurry toward their own goals. But where there is light, there is darkness. Crimes hidden beneath the glitter are sowing bitter fruit within Ideal City.
The male lead, Su Zejian, is highly observant and has strong self-control. He has lived a simple life with his mother since childhood, but she often leaves for work, so he is usually on his own. The female lead, Si Yi, is eccentric and bad-tempered, and hates being touched by others.
One of them had a newly developed chip implanted in his brain at birth. The other is a failed experiment in a laboratory neural network, with an unstable ability to share vision. Their story begins in District II of the western district.
