[The bonus chapters for reaching ten thousand followers and the New Year are now up. Enjoy!]
[I'm planning a similar groveling-after-the-breakup story, The Villainess. If you like it, please add it to your favorites! Mwah!]
On the day of Feng Yue and Yan Lin's first wedding anniversary, Feng Yue lost her temper in front of Yan Lin for the first time.
Like a madwoman, she threw caution to the wind and demanded hysterically,
"If you didn't want to marry me, why did you say yes?"
Yan Lin's reply was cold and calm. "You were the one who asked me to marry you."
*
Feng Yue had been in love with Yan Lin for twelve years. They had been married for less than two years when Feng Yue died of brain cancer.
Her cold, aloof wife, Yan Lin, hadn't even managed to see her one last time before she died.
When Feng Yue woke from a dream, she learned that she was merely a supporting character in a novel.
And the main characters were none other than her legal wife, Yan Lin, and a woman named Chu An'an.
Given another chance, she didn't want to be cannon fodder again.
Feng Yue decided to let Yan Lin go and live her remaining days on her own terms.
"Let's get divorced."
Feng Yue looked at her beautiful, ice-cold wife and made the suggestion without a trace of reluctance.
The next second, Yan Lin's hand paused as she turned her wedding ring. At last, a ripple crossed her eyes, usually as still as an ancient well.
"...What did you say?"
Only after watching his wife die did Yan Lin understand: a habit formed over twelve years could hurt like having flesh and bone carved away when you had to let it go.
Fortunately, Heaven took pity on her, and she was reborn. This time, she would never let Feng Yue suffer the same fate.
But Feng Yue had cut off every last hope with a single divorce agreement.
Reader's guide and content warnings
[Important] 0. The events in the novel An Lin's Past are merely like a prophecy; they never actually happened. After Yan Lin was reborn three years after Feng Yue's death, the original timeline was erased completely. Please don't keep dwelling on events that never happened. If you really can't stand it, please read something else. Spare yourself and me. [Thank you]
1. This is melodramatic, truly melodramatic. If you can't handle it, run! A groveling-after-the-breakup story.
2. The gong is reborn, and the shou awakens.
3. They will get divorced, then reconcile. No changing the gong, no changing the gong, no changing the gong.
4. The shou's illness will be cured. Don't ask; it's a Jinjiang-exclusive medical miracle.
5. It's not that the gong doesn't like the shou. She's just used to having her around, doesn't know how to express herself, and has a cold personality.
The completed novel in my collection, Alpha Goes Straight to the Crematorium.
A friend's ongoing novel, Starfall, has plenty of chapters ready to read. Search 2636244 to go straight to it.
The blurb for my next upcoming novel, The Villainess
A groveling-after-the-breakup story: first the shou suffers, then the gong. Warning: scumbag gong and a shou who keeps throwing herself at her.
A saying circulates among Beijing's high society: Qiao Lingxu is the only constant, while actresses come and go.
Everyone knows that to Qi Ke, Qiao Lingxu is her weakness, her exception, and the one person she will always choose. But only Qiao Lingxu knows that she's just a well-used toy Qi Ke doesn't want to replace.
Even so, Qiao Lingxu still loves Qi Ke.
Because eighteen years ago, Qi Ke found her, a timid, insecure, sensitive girl, in a dim corner of a garden, and took both her hands in hers.
She said, "Don't be afraid. From now on, I'll be your family."
*
Eighteen years later, Qi Ke chose someone else to be her fiancée. Qiao Lingxu's heart finally died, and she chose to leave.
Qi Ke only watched her coldly, then told the housekeeper to get rid of everything in the house that belonged to Qiao Lingxu.
A friend asked what was going on. Leaning back on the sofa, Qi Ke idly swirled her wineglass with a fingertip, as if she had everything under control and couldn't care less. "She was mine eighteen years ago. Where could she possibly go now?"
But later, Qi Ke panicked. She hurriedly dragged Qiao Lingxu back to her side, only to find her growing thinner by the day, living as if her life force were being drained away.
Qi Ke was helpless.
On Yanyi Bay, the salty sea wind swept the hair along Qiao Lingxu's cheek. Her vision blurred for a moment.
An endless ocean stretched behind her. In front of her stood Qi Ke, her face livid with rage.
Qi Ke suppressed her anger and struggled to keep her voice calm. "Qiao Lingxu, come here."
Qiao Lingxu's face was deathly pale as she smiled brightly. The next moment, she threw herself into the sea without hesitation.
As she fell, she saw the haughty Miss Qi finally lose her composure, rushing forward in panic without a thought for her own safety.
Her eyes were bloodshot, her heart-wrenching anguish plain to see.
Qi Ke,
Could you really cry for me, too?
Theme: Treasure the people you have. Don't wait until you've lost them to understand their worth.
Being unable to cry when you are extremely sad is actually a kind of defense function of the body. The first instinct is to disbelieve and escape. It is really torture for a character like Yan Lin to wake up only when it is too late.
Is there such a thing, where Yan Lin and Feng Yue suddenly wake up after spending the rest of their lives happily, and find that it was just a dream that she had because she missed Feng Yue too much three years after Feng Yue passed away [hehe] : P , just tell me your thoughts: I feel that the plot is not very eye-catching in the story about chasing a wife, and it does not show any changes in Yan Lin except the change after rebirth at the beginning. Feng Yue feels that he has no feelings for Yan Lin immediately after his rebirth, and he can't show his love for 12 years. The first half of the plot is simply about Yan chasing Feng, who doesn't love anyone, and later on, the two exchange feelings, to put it bluntly. Well, except for the plot before the divorce at the beginning and the plot after the snow resort, even if there is no content in the middle, it will basically have no impact. Feng's change is too sudden. Normally, Shou gradually likes Gong. From watching it, I feel that Shou hates Gong more and more under Gong's pursuit, and then suddenly likes it in the end. I wanted to give up halfway through the movie, but I liked the setting so much that I continued watching. (I don't know how I felt after watching it. Anyway, I felt a little unhappy. Maybe I thought it wasn't cruel enough)
Hello everyone, it's commercial time for Little Corpse now
The new article next door has been opened. It is a sweet article about the modern entertainment industry "The Queen's Ex-Girlfriend Takes Me to the Baby Variety Show" [50/50 daily and variety shows, this one is relatively slow to read. If you like it, you can check it out. If you can, I hope you can click it and add it to your collection hehe]
The column ends with the same type of ABO crematorium "Alpha She Directly Crematorium" [This is the first book I wrote, and it does have some minor flaws. If you are interested, you can check it out]
The three years in my previous life were so exciting. I kept repeating a mechanical life. When I look back, I realize how important people I missed.
I always like crematorium stories. It would be nice if I could write more action-packed extras, and Sister Wen's~( ̄▽ ̄~)~
I know many people want to scold Yan Lin before reading it. In fact, there are people like Yan Lin around me who are career-oriented, and they are not married yet. I always feel that this person will be married to his job in this life and have no interest in relationships. But after reading it, I felt relieved. This is just a novel. Although it really made me emotional to read it, I still don't take it too seriously. Only unrequited love is useless in emotional matters. Only the party with unrequited love will be hurt.
Ahhhhhhh, my little wife is scolding me
Yan's overall strength is not enough to lose weight, haha
Ah Yue is so delicate, come on, Mr. Yan!
I finished reading so early that I forgot to check in.
