The introduction read: Players must take on the role of a church bishop. During the game, they must steadily build and develop the church and spread a pure doctrine of justice, goodness, and positivity.
So the player worked hard, eager to level up.
But for some reason, as the levels went up, things started to feel wrong. The game itself seemed wrong, too.
Life and death were reversed. The dead rose again, and the uncanny spread through city after city, bringing terror in its wake. Countless people surged toward the church, the only place that could shelter them. But no one realized that the church itself had brought them death, fear, and the unknown.
And the merciful bishop they praised was nothing more than an eldritch god wearing human skin.
