Sunlight Falls, Beloved Boy in White

Because, like everyone else, I have no idea

how long I'll love someone.

If you decide to turn and walk away,

no matter how much my heart aches, I won't try to stop you.

I'm afraid I'll be just like everyone else, only half understanding,

and then be expected to spend my whole life with someone.

But I can't bring myself to say it.

It turns out the beginning was a mistake.

Loving you so deeply was always too much to hope for.

I keep my feelings hidden, unable to say them aloud.

I'm afraid I'll be just like everyone else, only half understanding,

and then be expected to spend my whole life with someone.

But I can't bring myself to say it.

How do you say something heartfelt?

How can I make you understand?

When we're face to face, I can't say a word.

So please pretend I'm already gone.

I open my eyes and stare at the emptiness.

I forget what you expected of me.

After reading about dependence,

my first words are simply for you.

The only words I have for you...

This story came from one of my sudden whims, and is dedicated to the little friend Ai Zai Yongheng Zhong Diaoling.
