When Yotsumono Jushi Becomes a Jujutsu Sorcerer

(P.S. The protagonist isn't an original character. He's from the RAP project Hypnosis Mic. The chapters before Chapter 1 (not the first chapter) introduce the character's background. If you don't want to read those, you can skip ahead to Chapter 1. You don't need to know the series to enjoy this!)

In everyone's eyes, Aiba Jushi is a pitiful little guy with weak cursed energy who cries easily. If he saw a high-grade curse, he might be scared to death before it could kill him. Until one day...

A certain teacher at Jujutsu High: "Hey, Jushi, show them what you can do!"

The normally meek, rabbit-like new student turns into a visual-kei edgelord in a second, spouting things nobody understands: "The hourglass runs backward, the world cannot abide hesitation" (time is limited, so we can't hesitate); "Weeds grow wild in the sunset of an instant" (even one mistake could have serious consequences); "In the darkness lies my paradise" (leave this to me); "A new paradise in the forbidden land, I entrust its liberation to all of you" (the higher ground is yours).

Itadori Yuji: ...Does Jushi want to go to an amusement park with us? But now isn't the time... (gets glared at)

Yoshino Junpei: ...Jushi, are you saying we should go somewhere else and leave this place to you?...

Then, before everyone's eyes, the curse that had approached Jushi put on a show, got flung away, and naturally crumbled into ash.

So this guy's going for the play-weak-to-catch-the-strong strategy??? Everyone was stunned.

Panda-senpai: I'm really sorry, but I can't solve this one.

The straightforward blurb:

Aiba Jushi has been a wallflower in his class for who knows how long. After being ostracized in middle school, he was almost relieved. He thought things could stay this way; he was so scared of falling into darkness once again.

But fate played a joke on him. Trouble doesn't leave you alone just because you don't want it. The thing Aiba Jushi feared most came to pass: his classmates started avoiding him.

Aiba Jushi wanted to hate that person, but he couldn't even do that. He could only cower and run away.

At some point, he suddenly began seeing things ordinary people couldn't. But he kept the secret that he could see these "ghosts" to himself.

Then, one day, he witnessed these ghosts attack the most important person in his life, his grandmother. Jushi suddenly snapped. When he came to, he couldn't remember what had happened, only that the ghosts had suddenly disappeared. After that, a strange white-haired man wearing a blindfold showed up, and Jushi's life became more and more abnormal.

Some rambling below~

I started writing this mostly because my best friend really likes Jushi and talks about him all the time (no). Also, after getting into Jujutsu Kaisen, I got attached to a character who got killed off so quickly (and was told there are countless more deaths coming. Suffocating.jpg). So I started this story out of sheer frustration. I'll do my best to write it, though I'm terrible at writing everyday scenes...

Aiba Jushi and Yoshino Junpei have really similar character designs: both were bullied at school, and both have bangs covering their right eyes. But their experiences are completely different. Junpei was bullied by a few trashy delinquents at a school full of idiots, while everyone else stood by and did nothing. Jushi was betrayed by someone he once thought was his best friend, and hated by his entire class, all because of ridiculous jealousy x. In the end, that friend even got Jushi's grandmother killed out of sheer childish malice, and showed no remorse when they faced off in court... Jushi eventually got a good ending and formed a deep bond with his two teammates, but Junpei listened to the scummy Mahito and had a tragic ending. I'm sobbing, waaah.

Also, if I manage to finish this story, I want to write one focused on Geto QAQ. Aside from Junpei, he's the man who made me cry the most.
