She Kui Qiya grew up as an ordinary person and turned twenty without incident. After graduating from an ordinary university, he was looking for a job when someone forcibly tried to scam him.

The scammer seemed to be an all-purpose wish-granting machine: "I'm here to collect payment."

She Kui Qiya: (dead-eyed) Is this some new kind of scam that's popular in big cities?

Then the Holy Grail informed him that he'd once made a wish, and it had been granted. The Grail had used up all its energy doing so, and now it had finally crawled (strike-through) its way over to collect the debt.

She Kui Qiya: Isn't this just a scam?

The Holy Grail: "The contract mark is right there on your right hand."

She Kui Qiya looked at the flashy design on his right hand, eyes shaking with shock.

To fulfill the contract and pay the price for a wish he couldn't even remember, She Kui Qiya began a life of frantically playing different roles in a world of cursed spirits and sorcerers.

The Holy Grail: (pulls out volumes 1–11 of Chainsaw Man) "Read these, then get to work."

"In short, to make my dream come true," said She Kui Qiya, wearing Makima's identity, "I have to create an era where everyone is equal."

The Holy Grail: "Hooray!"

This story was inspired by Yokohama Jujutsu High School. The author, Qihe Meiyou, has given permission for related fan-inspired ideas. Go read it, everyone! The first arc is complete, and it's really good.

The inspiration for the protagonist She Kui Qiya's character comes from Kakegurui, though basically all he shares with the character is the surname. The Holy Grail is a parody of the all-purpose wish-granting machine in the Fate series.

A secret identity story. No identities are revealed throughout the story, and there are no romantic pairings.

Theme: Equivalent exchange is the truth of peace.
