Qin Huang, the grandson of Grandpa Qin, who lives next door to Jiang You’s maternal grandmother, has returned.

Unlike country boy Jiang You, Qin Huang is a city kid: tall, handsome, clever, and well-read. He can play the piano and paint, play volleyball and ride horses. He’s just like someone who stepped out of a TV show.

When Grandpa Qin said that Qin Huang would be staying in the village for a while, Jiang You’s grandmother and mother told him to learn from Qin Huang, get along with him, and show him around, just like when they were little.

Jiang You agreed, but when he ran into Qin Huang later, he didn’t even say hello. He just turned and walked away.

Jiang You holds a grudge. No matter how capable and outstanding everyone says Qin Huang is, Jiang You will never waste another ounce of affection on him.

3. The story begins in summer vacation, with plenty of descriptions of rural summer life.

4. A relationship-focused story. Due to the author’s mental state, it may read like a running diary or feel padded, which could make for an unpleasant reading experience. I’m very sorry.

As old classmates, Qin Dongluan warmly reconnected with him. Qiao Yan was careful to keep his distance, afraid Qin Dongluan would discover his feelings.

One day, Qin Dongluan invited Qiao Yan to dinner. A heavy rain fell on their way back, so the two of them temporarily went to Qiao Yan’s dorm.

Once there, Qiao Yan took off his soaking wet clothes, revealing his thin, pale upper body. Qin Dongluan sat in the chair by his desk and watched him. A faint gleam passed through his eyes as he smiled and asked, “Qiao Yan, do you really like me?”

Qiao Yan’s glasses had fogged up. Through the misted lenses, his gaze was blank and bewildered. “Huh?”

Qin Dongluan is a favored son of heaven with countless friends, and countless people have confessed to him. He thought he knew exactly how to turn people down, until Qiao Yan told him he would keep his distance.
