Before the apocalypse could end, Qin Jiao transmigrated into a novel, a power-fantasy about a male lead leveling up, as a minor cannon-fodder character. The trouble was, this cannon fodder died in chapter three.
Qin Jiao didn't want to die. He had to stay away from the protagonist.
But fate was a little demon who just wouldn't let up.
Again and again, he got tied up with the protagonist. Not only could he not stay away, they grew closer and closer.
They became teammates in the tournament and, through tears, took first place.
He accidentally fell into the demon realm, and the male lead came to his rescue. Now he owed him a favor and a debt of love. He hadn't meant to make the male lead fall for a man.
They were trapped together in a secret realm. Qin Jiao looked at the man before him, bare-chested and showing his demonic traits as he proposed.
Then he might as well make himself fall for a man, too.
He had thought a beautiful future was within reach.
That day had started out sunny. He and the male lead emerged from the secret realm, only to be met by the delayed lightning tribulation.
Wow. The protagonist really was the protagonist. His lightning tribulation was in a league of its own: eighty-one strikes, just like a Tribulation Transcender's. Did he have a personal grudge against the Heavenly Dao or something?
Qin Jiao finished his tribulation early and joined the crowd to watch the spectacle. The longer he watched, the more uneasy he felt. That lightning tribulation looked like it would never end!
Lu Xuechen was covered in wounds. If the final strike landed, he might actually die.
Qin Jiao thought for three seconds, then rushed into the tribulation and took the deadly final True Dragon lightning strike for him with his own body. The protagonist was left holding him as he fell into demonic cultivation on the spot.
The cannon fodder had finally gotten himself killed after all. It was a little sad.
When he opened his eyes again, he saw green hills and clear waters.
As it turned out, the cannon fodder had several layers of revival armor. He could live and die, then die and live again.
Short scenes:
1.
"How could it have nothing to do with you?" Lu Xuechen carried Qin Jiao as he walked and said, "Unless you kill me, you won't ever escape me."
His voice carried a strange hint of pleasure. He set Qin Jiao on the bed, took a blue-glowing dagger from his storage space, leaned over, and placed it in Qin Jiao's palm.
Qin Jiao didn't know what he was planning. He tried to back away, but Lu Xuechen caught his hand.
Guiding Qin Jiao's hand around the dagger, Lu Xuechen drew its tip from his neck down to his chest.
"If you want to kill me, drive the dagger into my chest and pierce my heart." Lu Xuechen's lips curved upward, as if he had no idea how terrifying his words were.
Lu Xuechen was serious.
Qin Jiao was shaken to the core. He stared at him in disbelief and opened his mouth to speak. After a long while, all he managed to say was, "You're a lunatic."
2.
Qin Jiao wasn't breathing. He lay obediently in Lu Xuechen's arms.
Lu Xuechen sat stunned on the ground. He was already a Spirit Severing cultivator. How could he not know that Qin Jiao's soul had left his body and that he was dead?
But he refused to believe it. He simply couldn't accept that the person who had been so close to him in the secret realm could be separated from him by life and death because of a single lightning tribulation.
The man who had repeatedly said he didn't like him had died shielding him from the tribulation.
"Why did you take the tribulation for me? I told you I wouldn't die so easily."
Lu Xuechen's hair turned red, as if it were dripping with blood.
"You wanted to get away from me, didn't you? You didn't want to kill me, so you killed yourself instead."
His bones grew, and demonic horns appeared on his head.
"But I told you, as long as I'm alive, I will never let you go. I will find you, no matter where you are, in heaven or on earth."
His eyes turned completely red. A tear of blood slid down his cheek and fell onto Qin Jiao's face.
The person in his arms would never wake up again.
No. One day, he would make Qin Jiao wake up.
P.S.:
1. Transmigration into a book, the shou transmigrates into the past, the gong is reborn, 1v1, happy ending, non-typical male pregnancy
2. The writing is average, with a little leveling up, no secret identities, and not a secret identity story
3. The gong and shou are made for each other, and their love is mutual. No pairing changes or reversals
Theme: Find life in the face of death, fight to survive, never give up hope of living, and keep living well.
. The previous life of this attack is different from what I saw. The senior brother in the previous life was a time traveler.
So beautiful! Big cheers for the author!
When will the author update?

"Before falling down, Zhan Heng thought to himself" The name was typed wrong
"If Lu Xuechen had demon blood" It should be "if not"
"The disparity in strength may be quite large." Wrong sentence, "Change" means "big gap". Either we say "the gap in strength is huge" or "the gap in strength is huge".
