That year, he carried an unbearable pain in his heart, honed his skills, and took on several jobs just to scrape by.

That year, he had just buried yet another companion. He went out to clear his head and, while he was at it, took a few more doctoral exams for fun.

That year, spring was warm and the flowers were in bloom. The scenery was lovely.

The golden-haired young man smiled gently and called him "senior."

The black-haired young man gazed at him with deep eyes and softly called, "Kurapika."

One year later

"What are you hoping for? It was all fake from the start."

"Liar."

Much later

"Why are you taking the Hunter Exam?"

"To find my father."

"Me too!"

1. The characters will definitely be out of character (after all, they have minds of their own).

2. Updates will definitely be irregular (I have no backlog, so I write each chapter as I go).

3. The pairing is Chrollo/Kurapika (mostly canon-style Chrollo/Kurapika, so don't ask me whether it's angsty).

4. The pregnancy stone is a wonderful thing (important!).

5. A little Bleach is included to give everyone a happy ending.

6. But Chrollo doesn't agree, and neither does Kurapika, so the protagonist gets a bad ending in the end (important!!!).
