A Novelist's Redemption

Xiaoshan, a novelist, struck a deal with a god.

Xiaoshan planned to trade their entire soul for another version of themself: a completely new self, successful by worldly standards.

Before the deal, Xiaoshan asked the god for one last week, so they could finish the final novel they were working on. They set out on the road home to say goodbye to everything, but along the way, they happened upon the lives of others...

Theme: Life is a long, dark night, and only self-redemption shines like a lamp.
