After My Consciousness Awakened, I Was Reborn and Had My Husband Save Me

As a character in a book, Shi Jingyi awakened to his own consciousness. But after he was killed off, he found himself trapped in the moment of his death, opening his eyes to the instant he drowned, over and over again. After countless cycles, a hand reached out and pulled him free. When he opened his eyes again, the time and place had changed.

He thought his life was destined to end in drowning, until he met Lu Ren, another character who had awakened to his own consciousness.

Shi Jingyi gave him a mischievous smile. "Want me dead? Sorry, I've got a husband."

Author: ...???

As a background character in a book, Lu Ren never planned to change anything, even after awakening to his own consciousness. That was, until he met Shi Jingyi, another character who had awakened. Shi Jingyi actually wanted to change the ending the author had already decided on. Lu Ren thought he was dreaming, but when he saw the hand Shi Jingyi held out, he took it without hesitation.

Shi Jingyi gave him a sly smile. "Since you saved me, you're responsible for me from now on."

Lu Ren: ...???

#Have you heard of the butterfly effect?#

#The moment you reached out, the ending had already changed.#

[1] A sweet-on-the-surface, dark-hearted, flirtatious older top VS a tsundere, aloof, AI-like younger bottom

[2] Characters awakening to consciousness, reborn, redemption, healing, protection

[3] Poor writing, broken logic, a story made up as I go, and the two of them running entirely on sweetness

[4] Updates almost daily. I'll ask for a leave if something comes up. Thank you so much, everyone!

[5] Finally, please show this story some love and add it to your collection. Mwah!
