The Villain's White Moonlight Was Reborn Too [Book Transmigration]

A cold, silent, big-dog type top who was already twisted in his past life, and became even more twisted after the bottom died x a bottom who looks refined and gentle, but is actually a whole other story

*

A looks like a refined, sickly young man. He has a childhood friend he's very close to, and one day he is reborn.

After being reborn, he binds himself to a System and learns that he is a background character in a book, with only three words of dialogue in the main story.

His childhood friend, meanwhile, is the villain of the whole book: cold, cruel, and ruthless.

A: ?

The System says, "This is a crime thriller where almost everyone is evil, except for the characters who are required to be good."

"Our job is to correct the story's values so it can meet the standards for publication."

"This story may be dangerous, but don't worry. Your best friend is the most dangerous person in it."

"Everything he does later is because you died, and he wants to avenge you."

"You just need to stay alive, make sure he doesn't go too far, and guide him onto the right path."

A senses something is off. "...Wait, are we talking about the same person?"

The System nods. "He's vicious, twisted, and unscrupulous."

A: "...He's gentle, considerate, and kindhearted."

The System: ?

The System: "...Wait, are we talking about the same person?"

A slowly types out a string of question marks, too.

Though A thinks the System's description is absurd, he doesn't want his buddy to go astray. So every day he lectures him on the Five Disciplines, Four Courtesies, and Three Loves, then sets aside an hour each night before bed to tell him little stories about morality and share inspirational platitudes.

The System gets a headache from listening to him preach. "Honey, have you taken any of this to heart yourself?"

A: "No."

The System: "Then do you think the villain has taken any of it to heart?"

So A rolls up the book he's been reading aloud, taps the villain on the head with it, and asks, "Did you take that to heart?"

The villain: "Mm."

The villain rolls up his pants cuffs for him. "As long as you like it."

1. Depending on how the story develops, the System element may be removed.

2. More to come.
