Next book: The Love-Brained, Obsessive Mad Dog Won't Leave Me Alone, now serializing
Cool and reserved top x roguish, sunny bottom,
Su Chen wants to beat Gu Yanqing every single day.
Who can blame him? Gu Yanqing gets perfect grades, is incredibly handsome, and always wears the same expressionless, icy face.
Su Chen corners him, provokes him, and tries everything he can to catch Gu Yanqing looking defeated.
But Gu Yanqing only ever gives him a cool glance, as if looking at an annoying fool.
Everyone thinks Gu Yanqing is sick of Su Chen.
At first, even Su Chen thinks so.
Until one day, in a corner of the library, he accidentally opens the black notebook Gu Yanqing never goes anywhere without.
There are no notes inside, only pencil sketches, one after another.
They are all of him: his neck damp with sweat after exercising, his dazzling smile in the sunlight, his unguarded face as he sleeps...
Every line is exquisitely detailed, and brimming with voyeuristic desire.
Su Chen's heart pounds wildly as his trembling fingers turn to the latest page.
It shows what happened yesterday, when he cornered Gu Yanqing outside the equipment room.
The scene is crystal clear, and beneath it is a line of elegant handwriting:
[The little brat deliberately provoked me again today.]
[When he leaned close, panting against my neck, his eyes were so wet they looked like he was about to cry.]
[I really want to make him cry.]
Su Chen is horrified. The next moment, Gu Yanqing grips his wrist.
"I've been writing that sentence for three years."
Gu Yanqing slowly strokes the spot where Su Chen's pulse beats. His gaze shifts from the notebook to Su Chen's moist eyes, and his voice drops so low only the two of them can hear: "Can you teach me how to make it happen now?"
Su Chen flees in a panic.
Later, Su Chen finally discovers something more fun than beating Gu Yanqing.
When Gu Yanqing is reading, he leans over and bites his ear. "Teacher Gu, which answer is right?"
When Gu Yanqing is tying his shoes, he jumps onto his back. "Hurry up! What are you dawdling for?!"
Until one night, Su Chen uses the same provocations in a different way.
He straddles Gu Yanqing's waist, runs his fingertips over the buttons of his pajamas, and deliberately teases him without giving him any satisfaction. A sly glint dances in his eyes.
"Didn't you want to make me cry?"
He leans down and breathes into Gu Yanqing's ear. "So who's having a harder time now, hmm?"
Gu Yanqing has indulged all his mischief, but at those words, the last thread of the man's restraint finally snaps.
As the world spins, Su Chen is pinned beneath him, the tables turned.
Gu Yanqing grips both his wrists in one hand and pins them above his head. With the other, he holds Su Chen's chin and forces him to look at him.
The man's usually cool eyes are now filled with dark currents that threaten to swallow him whole.
"Class is over, Student Su."
Gu Yanqing's voice is low and hoarse. "Now it's time for the practical exam."
Only then does Su Chen belatedly realize he has played with fire and gone too far.
"W-wait, Gu Yanqing..."
Gu Yanqing silences all his protests.
Ongoing novel: The Love-Brained, Obsessive Mad Dog Won't Leave Me Alone
Jealous, mad-dog top x cool, abstinent bottom
Wen Ye first meets Lu Zheng in an alley.
Lu Zheng is surrounded by five people. His face is bruised, but his gaze is as vicious as a mad dog's.
Wen Ye passes by, glances over, and doesn't break stride.
Only when a knife is about to stab Lu Zheng in the lower back does he turn around. He casually picks up an empty wine bottle nearby, as if dealing with an annoying obstacle.
After the fight, Lu Zheng leans against the wall, blood seeping from the corner of his mouth. He looks Wen Ye up and down. "Mind your own business."
Wen Ye wipes the blood from his fingers without looking up. "Then pretend you didn't see anything."
Later, Wen Ye discovers that Lu Zheng has become a shadow he can't shake.
In class, Lu Zheng sits in the back row, legs crossed as he stares at him.
At work, Lu Zheng leans against the shop entrance, smoking as he watches him through the glass.
After work, Wen Ye looks at Lu Zheng and says coolly, "Are you following me?"
Lu Zheng stands up. He's half a head taller than Wen Ye, and looks down at him with a dark, wild gaze. "You took care of me once. Now I have to return the favor."
Lu Zheng takes a step forward. Wen Ye backs up half a step, his back hitting the wall.
He turns his head to avoid Lu Zheng's breath as it comes down over him. His voice is utterly emotionless. "I don't need it."
Lu Zheng braces one hand beside his ear and bends down, breathing against the curve of his ear.
"Too late."
Wen Ye thinks Lu Zheng is just all talk.
Later, he discovers that this man's way of looking after him isn't quite normal.
Wen Ye comes out after a shower wearing shorts.
Lu Zheng leans against the doorframe, his gaze sliding from Wen Ye's collarbone down to his calves. His voice is as casual as if he's commenting on the weather. "You dress like that because you think I'm blind?"
Wen Ye looks down at himself and thinks it over seriously. "It's hot."
Then he turns sideways and walks past him.
Lu Zheng grabs the back of his collar and pulls him back. He bends down, his lips touching Wen Ye's ear. "If I catch you coming out dressed like that again..."
"I'll make sure you can't leave this room. Believe me?"
Wen Ye scrapes his knee.
Lu Zheng comes over and, without a word, picks him up and sets him on the sofa. He kneels on one knee to apply medicine.
When the iodine touches the wound, Wen Ye hisses and pulls his leg back.
Lu Zheng grabs his ankle. His thumb presses against the ankle bone, and his eyes are so dark he looks ready to bite. "If it hurts, bear it."
"If you cry out... I won't be able to take it."
Wen Ye has always thought that Lu Zheng, despite his sharp tongue, bossiness, and bad temper, is at least a gentleman.
Until Wen Ye gets drunk and Lu Zheng carries him home.
Lu Zheng lays him on the bed and turns to leave.
Wen Ye reaches out groggily, hooking his fingertips into Lu Zheng's sleeve like a child clinging to something to stop it from going away.
Lu Zheng stops and leans over. One hand braces beside Wen Ye's ear, while the other holds his chin and makes him look up.
His thumb presses against Wen Ye's lower lip, the pad of it burning hot.
"Wen Ye, do you know what you're doing?"
Wen Ye looks at him with half-lidded eyes, his pupils unfocused.
Lu Zheng bends down, breathing hard. His voice is like sandpaper scraping his throat. "You aren't sleeping tonight."
The next morning, Wen Ye wakes up aching all over, memories flooding back in fragments...
He was straddling Lu Zheng, tugging at his collar. "Why did you stop moving?"
Lu Zheng's gaze was as dark as fire as he gripped Wen Ye's waist hard. "You asked for it."
Wen Ye closes his eyes and buries his face in the pillow, the tips of his ears bright red.
A low laugh comes from the doorway.
Lu Zheng leans against the doorframe with a bowl of congee, looking thoroughly satisfied. "You're awake?"
Wen Ye doesn't move. His voice is muffled by the pillow. "Put the congee down and leave."
Lu Zheng walks over, bends down to put the congee on the bedside table, and casually squeezes the back of Wen Ye's neck. "You weren't saying that last night."
Wen Ye finally lifts his head from the pillow and looks at him. His gaze has returned to its usual indifference, but his ears are still red. "I was drunk last night."
"Doesn't count."
Lu Zheng raises an eyebrow, his gaze slowly darkening. "Doesn't count?"
He bends down and braces both hands beside Wen Ye, lowering his breath over him. "Then when you're sober..."
"We'll make it count again."
Later, Wen Ye rubs his waist and curses at Lu Zheng. "Are you ever going to stop? Didn't you say you weren't interested in someone like me?"
Lu Zheng slowly tugs open his collar, his gaze deep and shadowy. "I lied. The first time I saw you fighting..."
"I wanted to have you right then."
