After quitting his job, Su Shen returns to his hometown and opens a general store.
But he discovers that all sorts of strange customers keep showing up.
Customer One: “Please, you have to save my sister! She was just bitten by a zombie. There’s still hope for her!”
Su Shen looks at the cat scratches on the customer’s sister. “...I think you should get a rabies shot instead. This is just a general store.”
Customer Two: “I heard you have a divine medicine that can make anyone a god! I’ll get it at any cost!”
Su Shen looks at the middle-aged edgelord. “...I suggest seeing a psychiatrist. You can still get help, so don’t give up on treatment.”
Customer Three: “I want them all dead! Dead! I’m going to kill them!”
Su Shen silently calls the police. “...There’s really no need for that. This is just an ordinary general store.”
At some point, a legend began circulating throughout the Myriad Worlds.
Deep in the mist lies a wish-granting shop run by an evil god.
There, you can obtain anything you desire, as long as you can pay the price.
At the same time, a warning began to spread.
Warning One: The mist is a monstrous beast He keeps. Beware the mist!
Warning Two: Never show Him the slightest disrespect. Remember, He must not be profaned or looked upon!
Warning Three: If you are lucky enough to enter His wish shop, you must buy at least one thing to please Him. Otherwise, you will never escape the mist!
A few things to know before reading:
1. The protagonist is the biggest villain in the entire story.
2. The protagonist’s morals are not the author’s morals.
3. This story has a touch of Lovecraftian horror, but it isn’t scary (trust me).
Theme: Su, the friendly neighborhood resident of the Ancient God Realm
