A Kitten's Rules Are the Only Rules [Rule Horror]

To find her missing grandpa, Zhudou agrees to enter a world of bizarre rules after being approached by the System.

System: Find as many rules as you can. If you can't find any...

Zhudou: Then I'll make some up!

System: ?

The rules for [Kitty] are as follows:

1. Help the kitty find her grandpa.

2. Don't show up out of nowhere. The kitty gets easily startled. Don't pet the kitty whenever you feel like it, either. Brushing her fur is exhausting.

3. If you have lots of dried fish, you can ignore the previous rule.

4. The kitty is not human, and yet she is human too.

5. Don't...

The monsters stared in disbelief and couldn't help interrupting. "Wait, aren't you supposed to be looking for rules? How did this turn into you making rules for us?!"

Zhudou: ? Isn't that how you play this game?

The monsters: The rules of the game should be @#%*!&...

Zhudou shook her head, cutting them off, and continued counting on her fluffy fingers. "5. Don't try to reason with the kitty, because I'm just a kitty."

The monsters gazed at her pink paw pads and all swallowed nervously. "Um... what did you say we had to prepare to be your friend?"

Zhudou held out a paw, her expression utterly unyielding. "A whole sack of dried fish. And if you want to squish my paw pads, that'll cost extra."

When the other participants discovered that Zhudou was a cat, they all thought she wouldn't survive until the next day.

But Zhudou was pretty, pampered, and harmless-looking, so pitiful that many players started helping her through the challenges, more or less on purpose.

Later, they gradually realized that the monsters had all become this kitty's "friends"... or, more accurately, her slaves.

Not only did they scour the place for dried fish, they competed to find the correct rules for her. Some dungeon bosses even wanted to let her clear the dungeon outright, all for the chance to pet her soft little head.

Perhaps... clinging to the kitty is the true path to survival!

Zhudou was thriving in the world of bizarre tales, but she had her troubles too.

Lately, a man dressed in black from head to toe had taken to following her everywhere.

No matter how many dungeons she switched to, she couldn't shake him. He was like a shadow.

She asked the other participants for help, but they looked puzzled. "What person beside you?"

She asked the monster NPCs, but the moment they saw the man, they all screamed and fled...

One day, Zhudou finally worked up the courage to ask him:

"What exactly do you want?"

The man merely smiled, perfectly polite.

"I want your heart. May I have it?"

P.S. 1. Everyone's favorite, healing story.

2. One-on-one, both are each other's first. A pampered, gorgeous kitty who plays the submissive role x a scheming, brooding man who plays the dominant role.

Theme: Protecting animals is everyone's responsibility.
