A Match Made by the Gods

Li Su is an administrator of a xianxia world. While on vacation in a modern world, he is having a blast at an anime convention when the click of a camera sends him straight back, forcibly summoned by the Heavenly Dao of the xianxia world!

In Yuan Realm, which belongs to the xianxia world, karmic sin and malice have exceeded the limit. The realm's ownership rights are under review, yet its administrator still hasn't returned.

The Heavenly Dao System is furious at Li Su, who's been forcibly recalled. "My Lord, having a nice time? Yuan Realm is about to fall into the Demon Lord's hands, and you're still not back? Are you kidding me?" (╯‵□′)╯︵┻━┻

Li Su can't believe it. He'd only felt safe taking a vacation because Yuan Realm had seemed peaceful and prosperous.

But faced with a temple packed full of red warning screens, Li Su is dumbstruck. Ah, so this is what it feels like to work overtime until you have a heart attack!

As the saying goes, working overtime is fun for a while, and working overtime forever is even more fun. Li Su can forget about taking it easy for the next few centuries.

The little ball of light that is the Heavenly Dao says, "Compared with the billions of years you spent on vacation, letting the Demon Lord take advantage of the opportunity to devastate Yuan Realm, this is just the blink of an eye. Deal with it!"

Later, as he travels through Yuan Realm to deal with the karmic sin and malice, Li Su always has a little follower diligently by his side. The follower never forgets the tea and pastries, takes care of everything from massages to leg rubs, and even supplies him with all the Demon Lord's intelligence.

The Demon Venerable, disguised as a follower and working hard to win his husband over, smiles and continues feeding him little treats.

Reading Guide:

1. CP: A hardworking, overtime-loving God Lord bottom x a Demon Venerable top devoted to one person

2. In this story, God Lords and Demon Lords are born as opposites. The top is a Demon Venerable who cultivated as a demon after being born as the spirit of the Ruomu divine tree, not a Demon Lord.

Qu Hexu is the luckiest person alive. On the day of the college entrance exams, he receives the consciousness of the gods, then gets hauled off to a psychiatric hospital in an ambulance!

"You have to believe me. They say they're the Jade Emperor, the Monkey King, Nezha, Nuwa, Jiang Ziya..."

The doctors and nurses are experienced, and immediately give him a tranquilizer!

In the hallway, they can't help discussing him.
