I Opened a Cat Cafe in Ancient Times

Ji Jiang fainted from heatstroke. When she opened her eyes, she had arrived in ancient times, with a System in her head.

The System was aloof and never said a word, until Ji Jiang found a stray kitten by the roadside and unlocked a recipe.

From then on, Ji Jiang settled into a routine: adopting cats, unlocking recipes, and adding new items to the teahouse menu.

Business at the teahouse kept growing. Everyone in the neighborhood said the new young lady was a dab hand at making pastries, but they had no idea Ji Jiang had troubles of her own.

At night, voices could always be heard in the teahouse's back courtyard.

The first time, Ji Jiang went out to investigate with a cleaver and found a black cat had caught a snake.

The second time, she went out with a sack and found an orange cat had caught a mouse.

The third time, she strode out without a care and found an injured tabby cat in the courtyard.

After that, Ji Jiang slept soundly through the night.

But the good times did not last. As time went by, she noticed that the tabby cat at home was getting bigger and bigger, until it became a huge, white-browed tiger.

Ji Jiang looked at the cat food in her hands and fell into deep thought.

Male lead's perspective:

The tiger demon Bo Du was gravely wounded and hid in a teahouse in the form of a cub.

The teahouse's owner was a complete airhead. She kept a whole group of cat demons without realizing it, and kissed, cuddled, and lifted those old things up in the air every day.

Bo Du had no desire to associate with cat demons, but the woman's cooking was too delicious. So he had no choice but to compromise and let her play with his tiger paws.

Who knew the woman would take an inch and ask for a mile, making more and more outrageous demands?

Bo Du could only reluctantly become her cuddly little bed-warming "kitten."

Then one day, Bo Du's internal injuries healed and he transformed into human form, only to be kicked off the bed by that foolish woman.

Bo Du was mortified and furious to discover that she only liked cats, not men!
