[Jujutsu Kaisen] Dead or Alive

He didn't like his own name, but he accepted it. He had no father, and he didn't need one. That was what Fushiguro had thought throughout the first half of his life. Until he watched that man use Playful Cloud to kill himself right in front of him. Then he crawled out of the faint shadows of darkness, and after dying just as pointlessly, woke up again on a street at dusk, on his way home. The strongest in Jujutsu Society was crouched in front of him, telling him about his father. "He's dead, right?" The child, only a few years old, suddenly spoke. The Six Eyes Jujutsu Sorcerer fell silent and looked at him deeply. Now he understood. His father had never abandoned him. He had just died. "Then where's the body?" he continued. Ten minutes later, a young, suspicious man with white hair shut the morgue door and said awkwardly, "Ah, it seems he isn't dead after all." Fushiguro: ...? The Ten Shadows Technique user of the Zenin Clan was still young. But as if chased by a beast in the darkness, the boy trained himself relentlessly, never taking a day off. He subdued shikigami, exorcised cursed spirits, rescued the injured, and even dared to face Curse Users head-on. --But he was still far too young. The grinning Curse User grabbed the boy in front of him. "Ha! The Ten Shadows Technique? The Zenin Clan is really..." He never finished speaking. The Heavenly Restriction Tyrant appeared before him. The man's shadow fell over them, and his very presence seemed to warp the space around him. Most suffocating of all was the tension coiled within him, ready to erupt. He glared at the man who had been gloating just a moment ago. "Z-Zenin Toji..." "This kid's under my protection," the Heavenly Restriction Tyrant said, lifting his chin. "...And his name is Fushiguro." The Curse User's legs trembled as he fled in a panic. The boy, set back down on the ground, wore a sour expression. "...I could have handled it." The Heavenly Restriction Tyrant chuckled and ruffled his hair. "Sure, sure. My son is amazing."
